The Conciergerie
Go back in time and visit the former palace of French kings with Artyfacts. You will travel through the centuries by exploring the history of this place of royal power that later became a revolutionary prison.
For an hour, the guide will tell you about the evolution of the Conciergerie’s areas and functions from the Middle Ages to the French Revolution. You will then understand better the organization of a royal palace, a courthouse and a prison, while meeting many historical figures who had a more or less tragic fate.

If you wish, you can combine this tour with the Sainte-Chapelle tour. The tour will then last 2 hours and cost 230€, to which you must add the combined Conciergerie/Sainte-Chapelle group ticket starting from 180€. For 8 and more people, the guide also has to rent audiophones for 2€ per person.
This tour can take place on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 4:45 pm and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 4 pm. It is available in French and English and is aimed at everybody, children and adults alike, enthusiasts and novices alike.
Please note that this place is not wheelchair accessible. The tour involves climbing several flights of stairs.
