These rates are given for information purposes only. They may change depending on the number of people, your requests, the customization of the tour, etc.
The rates only include the guided tour. To that may be added tickets as well as the group reservation fee which is mandatory for certain museums. I will itemize the quote so that you understand what you may pay for and do not get fooled.
Rates explained
I am a salaried employee of my own company, Artyfacts. It means that my income depends on the firm’s turnover. The fee you pay for enables to pay me for all the time spent preparing and organizing the tour (informations research, building of the speech, on-site training, printing of colored pictures, ticket booking, email and phone contacts with the clients, etc.). It also helps financing my running costs such as professional insurance, accountancy, website hosting, etc.
By choosing a tour with a self-employed tour guide you pay more than with a museum or agency-salaried guide. Nevertheless, you enjoy a bespoke and individual experience. You are also accompanied and advised from the first contact with the guide to the end of the tour. All of this guarantees you a unique speech produced by the tour guide themselves, with their own anecdotes and their own way to present works of art and places. These are many worth considering advantages.
How to pay ?
All tour bookings are subject to acceptance of a quote detailing all costs involved. You then pay in one go, either at the end of the tour by credit card, check or cash, or within seven days by check or bank transfer. Payment terms are specified in my Terms and Conditions.
What about cancellation policy ?
Preparing a tour requires a lot of hard work as well as anticipation. That is why cancellation fees apply most of the time. Here is my cancellation policy :
If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of the tour, I will not charge you for the service.
If you cancel between 30 and 15 days before the beginning of the tour, I will charge you 25% of the service.
If you cancel between 15 and 7 days before the beginning of the tour, I will charge you 50% of the service.
If you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the beginning of the tour, I will charge you 75% of the service.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the beginning of the tour, I will charge you for the entire service.
In the event that I have to cancel the tour against my will (natural disaster, terrorist alert, closure of the visit site, etc.), you may cancel the service free of charge, postpone it to a later date or modify the tour initially scheduled.
