Paris 1900 World’s Fair

With Artyfacts, discover the remains of the Paris 1900 World’s Fair to relive the excitement of Parisians in the final year of the 19th century. By looking at the surrounding architecture, imagine yourself strolling between the pavilions which presented the most important inventions of this transitional period.

Within 1 and a half hours you will learn all about the history of world’s fairs and the ups and downs of organizing such an event. You will also observe the three buildings remaining from this wild venture to understand their architecture and rich decoration.

This tour can take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9 am and 4 pm and on Wednesdays between 9 am and 3 pm. It is available in French and English and is aimed at everybody, children and adults alike, enthusiasts and novices alike.

If you have any specific need (disability, walking difficulties, stroller, etc.), please let me know beforehand. I will then adapt the trail and the tour to suit you best.
