During this tour you will learn in which context the Palais Garnier was built and why the architect proposed such an ambitious project. You will immerse yourself in the customs of the Second Empire society to understand all the stakes of this unusual and grandiose building. From the Rotonde des abonnés to the Grand Foyer including the spectacular staircase, you will not miss a single corner.

Practical information

*For 1 to 6 people, group ticket costs 70€. For 7 to 11 people, group ticket costs 130€. If you would like to visit with a larger group, please contact me so I can adapt the tour and send you the corresponding quote.

This tour can take place from Monday to Friday between 10.15 am and 14.45 pm. It is available in French and English and is aimed at everybody, children and adults alike, enthusiasts and novices alike.

If you have any specific need (disability, walking difficulties, stroller, etc.), please let me know beforehand. I will then adapt the trail and the tour to suit you best.

Please note that the Palais Garnier auditorium is regularly closed for performance preparation. I can not guarantee that it will be open the day of your visit. In any case, I will give a commentary on it.
